If you want to look suitably stylish a good suit is a must. That’s why we’ve got our very own tailors at the Esquire Townhouse, courtesy of Sartor

Sartor roughly translates to ‘garment maker’ in Italian (making it an apt name for tailoring partner at The Townhouse)

Right between the man who buys cool clothes because he can, and the other guy who looks amazing in whatever he slings around his shoulders, sits an unsung hero: the tailor.

While other men walk around in slightly-too-baggy trousers or suit jackets that sit a little tight around the waist, a good tailor’s job is to ensure your clothes work for you. And there’s little doubt about it; a man always looks their best in a finely-tailored suit. That’s why we requested the services of Sartor.

The brand recently opened its flagship boutique in the H Hotel on Sheikh Zayed Road, but has temporarily re-located to Esquire Townhouse for these four days. Sartor plays upon its experience in the world of textiles – it’s been in the business for over 12 years – to guide its clients through the entire bespoke experience.

Sartor was created by two young entrepreneurs, Girish and Rakesh Daryani. As owners of Vansh International – one of the region’s leading textile suppliers – they already knew a thing or two about what makes a good suit. The pair opened Sartor to ensure they could provide quality service, all the way from fabric to the finished article.

Sartor makes bespoke suits, trousers, shirts and accessories, examples of which are on show at the brand’s new boutique. Or, you could just head down to the Esquire Townhouse for a fitting. We already have.
