Day two of the brilliant Esquire Townhouse in Downtown Dubai, kicked off early with a 7am Bootcamp training session hosted by Technogym. Inspired by the newly launched Dubai Fitness Challenge, the 20-strong class were kitted out in Under Armour’s performance apparel and made to work hard.
Lucky reward for them, and late-comers came in the form of a healthy breakfast spread by Dubai’s leading cafe Jones the Grocer.
Throughout the day, private guests explored the 10,000sqft apartment, it the exclusive Volante tower in Business Bay, overlooking Burj Khalifa. The many rooms and activations available in the Townhouse; including walk-in closets by Eden Park, grooming rooms by barbers Chaps & Co. and Tom Ford, and a dedicated tailor, courtesy of Sartor.
A three-course, working lunch was hosted by the impeccable Dubai-grown restaurant Folly by Nick and Scott.
The more style-concious guest were wowed by the regional capsule collection compiled by Esquire’s Fashion Editor, Danny Higgins, who was celebrating four of the GCC region’s most promising menswear fashion designers – Les Benjamins, Varoin Mwah, Toby by Hatem and Velorum Dubai.
The afternoon masterclass session saw an impeccable fragrance session by Tom Ford who rolled out its trademark elegance, while educting the crowd on the subtlety of layering its fragrances.
The panellists for the evening’s Lessons From Entrepreneur main event included Founder and CEO of The Entertainer, Donna Benton; the director of the Regal Group Vikram Shroff and founder of restaurant consultancy, New School, Paul Pruitt. You can expect a video of the entire panel soon.
