While promoting his new film Air, Ben Affleck wore the grail to end all grails yesterday, casually sporting a pair of Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 ‘Chicago’ while on Kelly Clarkson’s show–a shoe that is not only unreleased, but many thought would never see the light of day, as the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 collaboration is apparently ending with the next shoe drop.
So, does this mean that the Travis Scott Air Jordan 1 Chicago is going to see release? It remains to be seen. But Affleck wearing them certainly points in that direction.
If this is a real pair, it would seem that either Air Jordan or Travis Scott himself gifted Affleck the pair. Perhaps it was a ‘thank you’ after Affleck was seen wearing the Travis Scott Fragments last fall.
Travis Scott himself was recently in the UAE, sporting the Dubai-born Habibi Dunks while on stage at Wireless Fest.

The pair was first seen back in 2021, when RHUDE founder Rhuigi Villaseñor posted a pair on his Instagram, never to be seen again.
Since then, we’ve seen numerous Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 releases, including the Fragment, Reverse Mocha, and the Black Phantom.
High quality fakes have also been popping up, with some YouTubers reviewing the rep pairs.
The fake pairs have apparently been available for two years, with one user commenting, “had these for 2 years.. worn em in public etc. nobodies called me out.. I’ve gotten tons of compliments. These are goated.”
In the mean time, as we wait to learn more about whether this pair will indeed see the light of day, the sneaker community is freaking out about the pair being seen on television.

Seriously, it’s supposed to be excellent. It currently sports a 99% audience score and a 99% critics score on Rotten Tomatoes, signaling a long shelf-life for the film.
