Raha Moharrak (aka the first Saudi woman and the youngest Arab to summit the tallest mountain in the world) has become TAG Heuer’s first-ever Arab brand ambassador. And she’s in good company. Other ‘friends of the brand’ are Cristiano Ronaldo, Bella Hadid, David Guetta, Tom Brady, Chris Hemsworth and Patrick Dempsey.

Moharrak knew she wanted to summit Everest after she first reached the peak of Kilimanjaro. A few years later, on May 18, 2013, she became the first Saudi woman to reach the top of the world. Since then, she has also conquered the Seven Summits – the ultimate achievement for climbing aficionados.

Today, Moharrak is a keen speaker of women’s rights in Saudi Arabia and the rest of the Arab world. While she works at a leading advertising agency by day, she continues to climb whenever she can. It was her want to push boundaries (both physically, and culturally) that first attracted the eye of TAG Heuer.

Moharrak was unveiled as a ‘friend of the brand’ at a star-studded reception at Dubai‘s Grosvenor House Hotel. “It is a great honour to welcome such an accomplished individual in our TAG Heuer family,” said Mr Pic, Regional Brand Director of TAG Heuer.

“Raha is an incredible achiever and sees no limit to break the rules and push boundaries. We see incredible potential with Raha for what she represents toward the Millennials of the Middle-East.”
You can expect to see a lot more of Raha Moharrak in future (probably on the side of TAG Heuer billboards).
