It’s part of Aston Martin’s ‘Vantage Tradition Collection’

Aston Martin has now formally completed the recreation of its highly-revered DB5 ‘Goldfinger’ as seen from the James Bond films Goldfinger and Skyfall.

This conclusion phase follows right after the British marque revealed its racing “Vantage Tradition Collection”.

Just 25 versions of the vintage classic will be produced, each of which are priced with a lofty US$3.5 million a pop.

The number of versions is significant, as it references the 25 James Bond movies that have been launched to date. The 26th movie in the Bond franchise – No Time To Die – has been pushed to a 2021 release date.

The limited edition motor has the same Silver Birch paintjob, with overlapping outside body panels made from Aluminium. Under the hood you get a 4.0-litre engine with 290-horsepower.

In addition, you also get 007-inspired gadgets such as the front-end weapon arsenal, bullet-resistant rear guards, rear smoke screen deployment system (although, they aren’t functional natch).

To celebrate the launch, Aston Martin put five of the faithful reproductions side-by-side.
