Balenciaga creative director Demna Gvasalia has been enjoying his football of late; the Spanish luxury fashion house has recently released lux puffer jackets and football jerseys, and has today released a new ‘soccer’ boot in a ‘Fluo Yellow’ hue.
Like pairs before it, the ‘soccer’ was made entirely from polyurethane – which not only makes it lightweight, but is also a nod to ‘proper’ football boots.
You also get a cleated outsole that comes with 13 traction-aiding nodes on each foot, as well as an elasticated rubber tongue. There is also a rounded toe that mimics the quilted look of regular football boots.
The Balenciaga logo can be seen in black on one side of the toungue, while the BB emblem can be spotted on the heel tab (also in black).
The she is available right now as part of the brand’s Fall/Winter 2020 collection (although, you wouldn’t expect it given the neon colour) and costs US$725.
