After last week’s pair of shoes that cost US$5,000 (that you can’t actually wear), Balenciaga is continuing with the playful attitude towards fashion – or in this case food – with a new BB-embossed lunch box that will set you back US$2,000.
We did the math, and at an average of US$7 (AED20) per meal that would give you a hot lunch every day for 365 days.
The box was spotted during the brand’s Fall Winter 2020 runway show. It is made from acetate and features a leather strap that will work over the shoulder or handheld. The detachable handle is branded with Balenciaga.
The inside has too been lined with leather (so perhaps don’t stick anything that will spill inside of it).
