The obvious answer is yes, to any Sandro campaign. But this one specifically hits all the right buttons and then some, transporting the viewer, the wearer, and everyone in between to the French Riviera ubiquitously synonymous with cinematic lore, and if Jean-Paul Belmondo was still around, we can guarantee he would approve.

Photographer Nigel Shafran captures a dreamlike narrative in which fashion interacts with the most unexpected of props, although, given the context, somehow blend together in perfect harmony.

Ribbons, origami, tubes, and a bright lime green Lamborghini – because why not? – turn this into a campaign that fires on all cylinders, and really just makes you depressed that you’re not physically in Cannes right now.

Sandro’s Parisian roots are amplified against the backdrop of the country’s warmer, sunnier, and (arguably) more affable geographical location, but the camel coats, tousled hair, and wide-brimmed hats all pay homage to the rich artistic history for which the country of France is famous.

And if the sight of this new collection of threads gives you the compulsive urge to start playing Francois Hardy, you can take comfort in that you are not alone.
