Robert Downey Jr. is back and setting sail with a boatload of animals for a perilous journey.
The first trailer for ‘Dolittle’ has indeed arrived. You can watch it below:
“We have no choice but to embark on this perilous journey,” says Downey’s Dolittle in the trailer, which is set to a darker rendition of Louis Armstrong’s ‘What a Wonderful World’.
Downey Jr. again steals the show, as he and his friends embark on an adventure to save the young Queen of England. Along the way, he encounters a host of said perilous dangers, including a tiger who calls him ‘lunch’ and a frightened gorilla.
The film has undergone some production snafus over recent months, including Universal Pictures renaming the film from ‘The Voyage of Doctor Dolittle’ to simply ‘Dolittle’.
The film certainly packs in the stars though, including Antonio Banderas and Michael Sheen in addition to voice actors Tom Holland, Rami Malik, Ralph Fiennes, Emma Thompson, Octavia Spencer and Kumail Nanjiani.
‘Dolittle’ will hit screens in January 2020.
