The International Astronomical Society has announced that Eid al-Adha will most probably fall on Sunday, August, 11 in the UAE.
Which means that expats and residents in the UAE will be able to enjoy a five day holiday. With Arafat Day set to fall on Saturday, August 10, this could see the weekend extended from Friday, August 9 to Tuesday, August 13.
Everyone will return back to work on Wednesday August 14.
