There are three new scents in Bvlgari’s high perfumery collection in Le Gemme.
Each scent was inspired by locations along Bvlgari’s ‘Gem Road’, and each bottle is a tribute to the gemstone that bears its name.
The obelisk bottle is a charismatic symbol of travel; the ancient Roman obelisk was traditionally used as a market to guide merchants on their journeys to and from the Eternal City.

These three dynamic energies resonate into a masterpiece collection of fragrances. According to Jacques Cavallier, Master Perfumer, “The inspiration for this new trilogy comes from the colour of the stones, and the stones themselves.”
“Musks are in Bvlgari’s DNA – they provide an element of sensuality and cleanliness mixed with fresh inflections, which produce very different feelings on your skin. They are often used as a sort of background to set a tone that is then punctuated by other notes. they help reveal the beauty of other ingredients. It’s like in a painting, to see the colours you need a background. For perfumes, it is the same.”

Falkar draws its power from the blue-green Falcon’s Eye stone of Brazil. Inseparable from the majestic falcon, it’s also associated with the common symbol of the Middle East.

Yasep – or red Jasper – is both noble and distinctive. It’s a new expression of masculine sensuality and draws its energies from deep black Musk and warm tanned leather, enveloped in mystic Agarwood.

Lastly, Opalon is inspired by the Australian white opal, a stone known for its luster and symbol of purity, wisdom and fortune. It features top notes of neroli and ginger, along with Indian lemongrass and geranium.
