It’s just like a regular Aston Martin…on steroids

No, it’s got nothing to do with Star Trek, but the latest performance upgrade package that’s been given to the Aston Martin Vulcan is certainly “out of this world!” (we’re so sorry). Taking the Aston Martin brand to new extremes, this upgrade, developed by the luxury marque’s new performance brand, AMR, is set to make its public debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. Any car that’s worthy of having its grand unveiling at a speed festival is quite obviously going to be very fast. And the Aston Martin Vulcan AMR Pro is indeed a very fast car.

Stocked with sports extensive aerodynamic enhancements, shortened gearing to produce increased downforce, a greater overall responsiveness, and guaranteed reduced lap times – the improvements made to this already stellar vehicle underline its status as one of the world’s most extreme and exclusive track cars. In other words it’s a proper balls-to-the-walls piece of machinery that’s just been made even more ballsy.

Built in a strictly limited run of just 24 cars delivered to customers throughout 2016, the 820BHP Aston Martin Vulcan was conceived and engineered to deliver the excitement of Aston Martin’s Le Mans-winning race cars to your slightly above Average Joe.  That may sound a little terrifying considering that they’ve just made the vehicles even faster, but fret not as over the last two years, Aston Martin Vulcan owners have each received step-by-step driver training by Aston Martin’s expert team of instructors – including Aston Martin Racing works driver and three-time Le Mans winner, Darren Turner – to ensure that they can safely handle the serious speed that the Vulcan offers.

Amongst changes like the addition of a sizeable pair of dive planes, 5kg of weight has also seen shaved off the car via an optimisation of the carbon fibre lay-up and core form. As a leaner, meaner, faster car than before – the Aston Martin Vulcan AMR Pro is everything you wish you were.
