The Apple iPhone 8/X launch event will be streaming live at 9 pm UAE time. We’re expecting new iPhones, potentially a new Apple TV, as well as a cheaper third-generation Apple Watch.
Apple always livestreams its events, so would-be fanboys can watch the event as it unfolds. There are a few ways you can watch along live from the UAE. Read on to find out how:
Do you have a Mac, iPhone or iPad?
It’s super easy to watch along if you are already part of the Apple faithful. Just click on this link right here at 9 pm in the UAE.
Just remember that you’re going to need to use Safari, not chrome because Apple will be using its own proprietary Live Streaming technology. That means you’ll also need to have your devices upgraded to iOS 7 and OS X 10.8.5 on your Macs.
If you have a PC, Apple will allow you to watch if you have Windows 10 or Microsoft Edge. If you have an Android device, you are out of luck. Apple is providing zero support for Google‘s operating system.
Do you have Apple TV?
You can tune in to the event on an Apple TV 2 or 3, as long as your software is updated to 6.2. The latest 4th-generation model will run it as standard. To watch, download the Apple Events app from the store.
