Apple will unveil its newest iPhones on September 12th, and after yet another leak, Gizmodo reports that Apple is foregoing a 7S entirely in favor of the new, enigmatically named iPhone X.
A leak of the iOS 11 build revealed details about some new features we can expect to see Tuesday, including new lighting modes for photographers, higher-resolution video capture, and automatically-adjusting white balance.
There was further confirmation that Touch ID is out, a casualty of the missing home button, and Face ID— unlocking the phone just buy looking at its camera— is in. We even got a preview of the feature via an adorable animation from 9to5Mac.

Another cute and potentially very annoying feature are the Animojis, animated 3D emojis that use the facial tracking feature to create personalized expressions. They’re also strangely terrifying— just look into their adorable little dead-alive eyes.
Oh man. Is the world ready for new 3D emoji in iOS 11's iMessage? (via @9to5mac) pic.twitter.com/vBpoeuOFlX
