The fifth annual Esquire Man At His Best Awards took place in Dubai on November 6, 2015, celebrating the outstanding achievements of men across the Middle East over the past year.
Hosted in spectacular fashion at the Madinat Arena, a uniformly glamorous array of guests were welcomed to the ballroom with a special performance by Monte Carlo’s finest band The Goldsingers. An opening speech from Editor-in-Chief Jeremy Lawrence followed, before hosting duties were handed over to the brilliant (and hilarious) Egyptian-American comedian Ahmed Ahmed.
The 500-strong crowd of the region’s who’s who sat down to a lavish dinner, before the presentation of 13 awards ranging from Humanitarian of the Year (Dubai Cares) and Chef of the Year (Gary Rhodes), to International Man of the Year (Gary Barlow) and culminating in the recognition of Esquire’s Man of the Year, the truly inspirational Palestinian refugee-turned-author, Chaker Khazaal.
Afterwards guest were directed to the outdoor terrace for the official after-party, before eventually being ushered to the exit in the very early hours…
