The new phone gives you a 44MP selfie camera

Vivo has unveiled its new V20 and V20 SE phones here in the UAE.

The new V20 series aims to please those who value the front-facing camera more than the back, giving users a 44-megapixel camera on the front for pixel-perfect selfies.

The sensor comes with Eye Autofocus – which will track and focus on moving subjects – which will also benefit front-facing video (for applications such as Instagram Stories and TikTok).

The front camera also comes with the same features as most backwards-facing cameras, including slo-mo, 4K video and super night selfie – which will enhance images taken in dim light conditions.

The backwards facing camera is no slouch either, packing three senors: a 64-megapixel, 8-megapixel and 2-megapixel snapper.

Under the hood you get a Snapdragon 720G processor, a 4,000mAh battery and Vivo’s FlashCharge technology for ultra-quick charging.

The V20 SE is the V20’s cheaper, less powerful cousin. It rocks a 32-megapixel front-facing camera, along with a Snapdragon 665 processor.
