A children’s author and illustrator has raised more than US$70,000 for charity by breaking a world record for the largest ever art class.
Rob Biddulph helped tens of thousands of people to draw a blue whale, while raising money for charity.
Biddulph entertained 45,611 people during his live stream which broke the previous Guinness World Record holder of 10,000 people.
“When I first started the #DrawWithRob classes back in March I had no idea they’d lead to a Guinness World Records title – but here we are!” said Mr Biddulph to Express and Star.
“The support I’ve received from everyone – kids, parents, grandparents and beyond – has been overwhelming.
“I hope I’ve helped to inspire people of all ages to continue creating beautiful artwork long into the future.”
Those taking part in the art class will all receive digital certificates from Guiness World Records for taking part.
Biddulph will continue to share art classes with the masses every Tuesday and Thursday, via the Art World Records Facebook page.
