Summer is advancing at an unrelenting pace, but you shouldn’t let that stop you from your favourite Dubai Friday brunch.

From your afternoon by the grill, to drinks by the pool, to your nighttime festivities, here are three outfits to ring in summer’s arrival:
The afternoon barbecue
Really the focal point of your weekend, the afternoon barbecue is where you want to be comfortable, but also have a bit of fun with your look. Throw a short-sleeve linen shirt over your favourite summer tee, and then cap it off with some boldly patterned shorts, your favourite pair of sneaks, and some stylish shades. And maybe toss in a beaded necklace just for kicks.

The roof/outdoor party
Once the sun sets, you’re going to want to add a light layer. It’s still spring, after all, and the evenings can get a little chilly. Wear your boldest camp collar shirt with a black denim jacket, with a pair of light wash jeans and some white retro sneakers.

Food and drinks by the pool
Obviously, this will be your most dressed down look of the weekend. But that doesn’t mean you can’t dress down with style.
