It’s a big year for the world’s oldest watch brand, Vacheron Constantin. Showcasing just how deep its roots run, the refined Swiss watchmaker has taken to this year’s Watches & Wonders show in Geneva to continue its year-long 270th anniversary celebrations, with new limited-edition timepieces.
The clutch of new pieces have been introduced across two of Vacheron Constantin’s more classic lines: the 18th-century inspired Traditionnelle line and its 1950-inspired Patrimony collection.
Tying the new releases together, the watchmaker has introduced a new mother of pearl dial design inspired by the Maltese cross – the brand’s logo since 1880 – in geometric form to nod at the horological house’s commitment to precision. It’s chic, as is the “côte unique” finishes on the bridges of each calibre visible through the sapphire casebacks.
So, which Vacheron models are getting an anniversary glow up?
Well, there’s the Two Traditionnelle Manual-Windings 38mm. There are 370 models available in 950 platinum and 370 in 18k pink gold.

Then there is the rather impressive Traditionnelle Tourbillon Retrograde Date Openface,
950 Platinum. Limited to 370 pieces.

Then there’s the One Traditionnelle Moon Phase 36mm, of which 270 are available in a diamond-set pink gold.

You’ve got the One Traditionelle Manual-Winding 33mm. There are 270 available in a diamond-set pink gold.

The Two Patrimony Moon Phase Retrograde Date 42.5mm. 270 available in white gold and 270 in pink gold.

Finally, there’s the Patrimony Self-Windings 40mm. With two different references, the brand has made 370 available in pink gold and 370 in white gold.

All are individually numbered, emphasising the exclusive nature of the anniversary editions.
