The best thing about the arrival of springtime is the reemergence of colour. Nature wakes up after its seasonal hibernation and does so in the way that only it can – with brilliant blooms and bursts of mood-altering colour.

Now, for most of us in this region, spring 2026 didn’t offer a lot to celebrate (the exact opposite, in fact)m so we’re determined to stretch that reemergent feeling out a bit, and calm our nerves, now that there are signs of things returning ‘back to normal’.

Helping us get there is perhaps that most comforting of colour palette – pastel. Those soft pops of light colours that don’t confront, but calm, are also bang on trend in the often ultra-cautious watch world.

Leaning into the soft power dial offering are a clutch of LVMH-owned watch brands including Hublot, Zenith, TAG Heuer and Bvlgari – each of which are offering up cute versions of their key pieces but with summer sanctioned-colourways.

TAG Heuer

Chief among the pastel picks comes from TAG Heuer, having released a limited-edition capture of its recently re-launched Formula 1 Solargraph timepiece. The new collection comes in five colour variations ranging from a soft pink and lavender-blue to sage green [pictured here], and with a wrist-friendly 38mm size and solar-powered movement – it is doing its best to ease you out of the gloom and into the summer sun.

Hublot

Hublot introduces a new ‘Coal Blue’ shade to its Big Bang lineup. This soft, charcoal-toned blue tempers the watch’s aggressive design with an unexpectedly calm, almost pastel feel. The classic Big Bang Unico in titanium pairs this muted blue with a sharp, carbon-inspired checkered dial, creating a contrast that feels deliberate and surprisingly refined.

Bvlgari

While much of the fanfare about Bvlgari’s watchmaking is focused on the superlative Octo Finissimo collection (and rightfully so), wearing one on your wrist as you hop on and off Greek island ferries hardly seems like a sensible move. A smarter man would opt for Bvlgari’s Aluminium collection, especially this piece that combines two of this year’s major watch trends: pastel colour dials and white case/bracelets. In terms of this Limited Edition drop, the 40mm case of the Automatic watch is made of sandblasted aluminium, with a white rubber bezel and bracelet, and sun-brushed blue dial.

Zenith

The Defy family of watches from Zenith has produced some wonderfully experimental watches over the past five years, and yet, there is something we find wonderfully calming about the dialled back offering of the Defy Skyline iteration. This Pink Starry Sky reference, may have been released a few years ago, but its muted pastel pink dial makes it feel like a calming balm on a scorching summer’s day.
