The Swiss watch brand Oris is one of the good guys. Along with some damn fine watchmaking, it has also made reducing its environmental impact a key pillar of the company as it continues to explore multiple ways to help achieve that social good.

Along with last year’s announcement of plans to progressively reduce its carbon emissions by ten percent a year for three years, it recently transferred the same intent to its timepieces, including unveiling its latest environmentally-conscious collaboration with the social enterprise Bracenet.

As nature is a constant source of inspiration for Oris, so too is it for eco-conscious Emirati social media star Abdulla Al-Senaani. Last month, the two joined forces (with a little help from Esquire) to showcase Oris’ elite collection and its message to Go Your Own Way within the stunning eco-system of Abu Dhabi’s national mangroves.
