If we assume that Chopard’s brief for the latest addition to its famed L.U.C XPS collection was ‘make it on trend, but keep it classy’, then it has been well and truly hit.
Encased in a familiar 40mm Lucent Steel case with Chopard’s in-house, COSC-certified microrotor doing the leg-work, the addition of the handsome green sector-style dial effortlessly adds a touch of vintage charm to the high-end collection.

The vintage-inspired “forest green” dial is a fusion of Art Deco and Bauhaus vibes, featuring separate rings for hours and minutes, while the dauphine-style hands and a small second hand at 6 o’clock add that extra flair.

Of course, when it comes to Chopard it would be amiss not to mention the use of its very own Lucent Steel for the case. The industry-leading alloy is not only made from 80 percent recycled materials, but it helps the elegant timepiece keep some important heft, while only being 7.2mm thick.
