You’re probably used to checking the time without thinking. All it takes is a glance at your phone, or a flick of the wrist, and you’re done. But every so often, you encounter a watch that reminds you why timekeeping surpassed utility and became an art form in the first place. Audemars Piguet has spent generations crafting those kinds of pioneering timepieces that push boundaries, a tradition it extends with its 2026 novelties.

Presented during its AP Social Club gathering, the Manufacture’s latest releases explore familiar complications with fresh intent. The 150 Heritage pocket watch leads the charge. Driven by the ultra-complicated Calibre 1150 and featuring a Universal Calendar, it connects modern watchmaking to centuries of astronomical study.

On the other hand, the Neo Frame Jumping Hour revisits a development Audemars Piguet helped introduce nearly a century ago, with numbers leaping every 60 minutes in place of traditional hands. Pink gold and black sapphire form the casing, creating a striking two-tone visual completed by a textured calfskin strap.

Meanwhile, the new openworked perpetual calendar powered by Calibre 7139 brings one of watchmaking’s most respected complications into sharper focus. Appearing in both Code 11.59 and Royal Oak versions, the movement emphasises structure and precision.

The Royal Oak Chronograph 38 mm follows with its own evolution. The introduction of Calibre 6401 improves reliability and refinement, while the sapphire caseback, which is a first for this model size, allows the wearer to observe its workings.

“At Audemars Piguet, we craft time through the care we put into every detail,” says Ilaria Resta, Chief Executive Officer. That devotion to excellence is exquisitely expressed in the Manufacture’s 2026 creations.
