If your spare time involves coffee, saving references, and comparing case profiles that only other watch people care about, you now have a spot on Riyadh’s Tahliah Street, where notable watches and jewellery retailer Ahmed Seddiqi has opened its first boutique outside the UAE.
The 4,400sqft space gathers together more than twenty five watch and jewellery houses, and features dedicated floors, quiet VIP rooms, and an on-site technician so the try-on, the sizing, and the decision can all happen at once.
The collection includes Girard-Perregaux’s sculptural Laureato and Ulysse Nardin’s marine-inspired chronometers alongside pieces from cult watchmakers such as Ressence and H. Moser & Cie, with Suzanne Kalan adding contemporary jewellery to the line-up.
There are dedicated floors for watches and jewellery, branded shop-in-shop areas, four VIP rooms for private appointments, and a hospitality area that encourages taking your time with your decisions. An on-site watch technician handles immediate servicing needs, supported by Swiss Watch Services in Dubai, the region’s largest independent after-sales centre of its kind.
For the family business, the Riyadh opening is a milestone moment. “Our expansion into KSA is an incredibly exciting chapter for our family business,” says Mohammed Abdulmagied Seddiqi, Chief Executive Officer. “It reflects our commitment to elevating the luxury and retail landscape across the region.”
The brand’s overall objectives are clear. “Our goal is to build a destination that will inspire the discerning clientele and welcome them to further explore and engage with a curated portfolio,” says Abdul Hamied Seddiqi, Chairman of Seddiqi Holding, noting that the move aligns with the company’s 75th anniversary and the founder’s original vision.
