Lamborghini and Roger Dubuis continue to be best buds – a few weeks after the Italian carmaker debuted the Huracan STO, Roger Dubuis has unveiled its limited-edition watch counterpart.
The Swiss watchmaker based the timepiece on the hypercar, and like the Huracan itself features high-performance mechanical components and a bold design.
The Excalibur Spider Huracan STO comes in the same striking colourway, including Blue Laufey and California Orange. It comes in a 45mm skeletonized carbon case with rubber inlays, along witha bezel made from titanium and metallized sapphire crystal. It comes on a strap made of perforated calfskin leather, with rubber detailing.
Roger Dubuis has dubbed the watch a ‘Mean Machine’ after the automatic RD630 calibre that powers the device. The signature movement has an angleded balance wheel, along with a 360-degree oscillating weight that mimics the same speed effect as the STO’s wheel.
It comes with an upper caliber and aa strut-bar bridge that looks almost identical to the exhaust of the Huracan car.
The watch has a 60 hour power reserve.
