Panerai has unveiled two new watches just in time for the fall; the Submersible Azzurro and the new Luminor Luna Rossa GMT.
First up is the blue-toned Sumbersible Azzuro, which is limited to just 500 pieces. It comes with a brushed satin steel case with a uni-directional 42mm bezel. You get a classic black dial, as well as Panerai’s token seconds counter and date window.
As its name suggests, this one is about spending time underwater – hence a water resistance up to 300-metres. It also packs a three day power reserve.
The second is another Panerai collaboration with sailing team Luna Rossa GMT. It adds some vibrant red details to the gray-shaded case and dial, both crafted from titanium and then sandblasted to finish.
The carbotech bezel sits at 42mm in diameter, and you get Arabic numerals at the twelve and six o’clock positions. The red-tipped third dial lets you track a second timezone. This one’s limited to 250 pieces.
The Penerai Submersible Azzuro is expected to cost around US$10,000, while the Luna Rossa GMT is not far off US$11,000. Both are expected to arrive in January 2021 (although, you can pre-order them via your friendly neighborhood Panerai boutique).
