Montblanc’s main focus for 2019 will be on the 1858 collection, with new designs and complications that aim to take the mountain-themed line to new heights.
At the center of the collection is the Geosphere; the brand’s homage to the Seven Summit challenge (which involves some of the world’s best climbers tackling the highest peaks on all seven of Earth’s continents).

The watch is now available in the brand’s bronze and khaki colour scheme, and is powered by the automatic MB 29.25 calibre. The 42mm case is water-resistant to 100m, and features ceramic green inserts, beige Arabic numerals, red gold-coated hour and minute hands, as well as the vintage Montblanc logo.
Montblanc seems smitten with its new bronze and khaki green colour scheme; it appears on both the 1858 Chronograph and 1858 Automatic limited editions.

Next up was the new Heritage range – a collection of watches that celebrates Villeret (Montblanc’s most high-profile watch manufacture) greatest hits. This year, the heritage range takes inspiration from the domed-cases of the 1940s and 1950s; including a rather fetching watch with a salmon dial.

The Heritage Pulsograph Limited Edition 100 is a monopusher chronograph with a column wheel and horizontal coupling. The salmon dial – which is quickly becoming a horological trend for 2019 – brings this classically-inspired piece bang up to date.
