In Tahiti the locals say “La vie heureuse” — which is French for “a happy life”. We get it. They live in an idyllic island paradise, so ‘happy’ is probably the entry level.
Well, this summer, we’re channeling the spirit of the Tahitians by accepting only good vibes (and an elegant dress code) as our default holiday setting—that’s our happy place.
It’s why our first port of call is Loro Piana, whose Resort wardrobe is all about relaxed fits and simple, pure lines. Taking inspiration from Tahiti, the collection features unique details in a colour palette that goes from deep blue to shades of kummel, juxtaposed with multicoloured stripes and all-over Tree of Life or Hibiscus Flower prints.

Don’t lie, you can already picture yourself embracing the mid-century, surfer-style vibe as you stroll aimlessly cross white-sand beaches.

If you happen to come across a particularly well-dress bunch of guys sat under some straw-roofed bungalows nestled in gardens of hibiscus—that will likely be us. Feel free to come over join in the vibes.
