After nearly four decades shaping the look and feel of the French house’s menswear, Hermès, Véronique Nichanian is stepping down as artistic director.
Nichanian has been designing menswear collections for Hermès since 1988. Her departure marks the end of one of the longest continuous tenures for an artistic director in luxury fashion.
Véronique Nichanian will present her final collection for the house during Paris Fashion Week on Saturday, 24 January 2026, part of the Autumn/Winter 2026-2027 menswear schedule.
Nichanian brought a distinctive sensibility to Hermès menswear, one rooted in elegance, wearability, and subtle innovation. Over the years, she became known for elevating everyday staples with exquisite materials, restrained tailoring, and unexpected touches of playfulness. Her most recent Spring/Summer 2026 collection exemplified that spirit.
