Few films balance action, comedy and suave styling quite as well as a Matthew Vaughn project. So you’ll know what to expect when the Kickass and Kingsman director makes his big screen return this week with the all-action comedy Argylle. Not only does the film star Henry Cavill and Dua Lipa in a tornado of fists, romance, and sartorial magnificence that we really wish we could be sandwiched in between – but online retailer Mr. Porter just happens to have launched an exclusive, cinematic collection directly from the film.

So, what’s the movie about?

Dude, who cares? All you need to know is that it has Superman, peroxide-haired Dua Lipa, Samuel L. Jackson, and, drumroll please, John Cena, breakdance fighting in a visual feast of choreographed fisticuffs, and, as mentioned, the Mr. Porter collection which is just as impressive as John Cena’s biceps.

Specifically, a costume-to-collection collaboration from luxury menswear label, Kingsman. Titled “Argylle by Kingsman”, the line has been developed with inspiration from the characters in the upcoming film, and if this is what Henry Cavill wears while dancing with Dua Lipa and kicking dudes in the face, then we want it too.

This is exactly the type of outfit the undercover spy posing as a meek, unassuming waiter wears as he furtively ogles the incoming mob boss taking a seat at a table in the back, before he somersaults behind a door and whispers into an ear piece attached to his collar, “He’s here,” and then some faceless voice on the other line says, “Take him out”, and spy guy says “Affirmative,” and bam, cue the spy thriller music. Bullets flying. Plates shattering. Expensive automobile engine revved. But the perfect hair of our hero remains untouched, no matter how many fists, knifes and rockets he dodges.

And the best part about this collection is that, like for so many of us who, after watching a certain film, spend hours scanning Google, trying to find that one specific pair of sunglasses, shirt, shoes, tie, whatever, at least now we have all the hard work done for us.

The 16 piece collection is exclusively available now from Mr. Porter as of today, January 31, 2024, and can be found here.
