How do you make Mr. Porter’s already slick Middle East capsule even more suave? Well, you drape it across the broad shoulders of Saudi Olympian Husein Alireza, of course.
Inspired by Italian craftsmanship, the exclusive 13-piece collection is target for our region’s warmer winter climate, with lighter fabrics to making former Esquire cover star Alireza, look like a modern Marcello Mastroianni strolling across a pool deck surrounded by the desert sands.

The select pieces evoke a Sinatra in 1960s Palm Springs sensation, the camel-coloured blends, immersed in an ocean of cacti, martinis and tanning mirrors, the only thing missing would be The Zombies playing on a nearby 8-track player.
“I am excited we’re able to launch our first exclusive Mr P. collection for the Middle East market, particularly as we are seeing growing demand for the brand in the region,” says Olie Arnold, Style Director, MR PORTER. “By capturing and offering an edit of what the local customer base needs from their wardrobe during those warmer months in the GCC, it marks our ongoing commitment in providing localised and bespoke offerings to customers.”

The campaign was shot in Dubai by a local creative team, set against a villa in the Jumeirah neighbourhood to capture the late summer essence. In line with the brand’s ethos of championing real men, the campaign features the Olympic Saudi rower, Husein Alireza, who made global headlines after becoming the first Saudi rower to participate in the Olympic Games in 2021.
