The Louis Vuitton Millionaires Sunglasses just hit their 20th anniversary, and what better way to celebrate than with a revamped release by the House’s current menswear ship captain, Pharrell Williams.

In 2004, Williams made fashion history when he joined forces with Nigo and Louis Vuitton, Marc Jacobs being the current creative director at the time, to release, what we soon become an icon: The Millionaires – an aviator silhouette dipped in Louis Vuitton signatures. And now he’s given his own brain child an upgrade.

Echoing a touch of vintage, these sunglasses are reinforced along their straight brow with aged gold metal strips and stamped with the symbols representing the Louis Vuitton Monogram, resulting in one of the most timeless pieces to be released from the iconic fashion house in the 21st century.

The Millionaires cemented the first time Williams designed for the House, and their introduction made waves among the overlapping worlds of music and fashion. Two decades later, Williams has found himself at the helm of men’s ready-to-wear and accessories, with this pair of sunglasses partially to thank for it. And we can see why.
