When reading the word BamBam, many of you may recall that club-wielding menace from The Flintstones, but considering his attire of choice – a flimsy piece of cloth – we figured he wouldn’t be the obvious ambassador choice for Louis Vuitton. Funny enough, BamBam the singer did actually get his name from the popular Flintstones character, and is one of the many artists springing out of the growing music scene in Korea, having debuted as part of K-Pop boyband, GOT7, alongside fellow Louis Vuitton House Ambassador, Jackson Wang.

Seven years after his debut with GOT7, BamBam, who is from Thailand but based out of Korea, embarked on a solo career in 2021, with his debut album, Ribbon. In 2019, his X account (then still called Twitter) was Thailand’s most mentioned entertainment account.

Following his sold-out solo tour of Asia, BamBam will continue his quest to become the biggest name in K-Pop by taking on Latin America and Europe, commencing this month, February 2024.

BamBam’s global fanbase has continued to soar due to a mix of musical talent, charismatic stage presence, and his innovative sense of style, which clearly caught the eye of Louis Vuitton as the two have now joined forces.

In other Louis Vuitton news, former Esquire Middle East cover star, Tahar Rahim, dazzled in Louis Vuitton on the ‘Madame Web’ photocall in London, UK. Rahim will play the fictional character of Ezekiel Sims, alongside Dakota Johnson who stars at the titular character.

The film opens in cinemas on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2024, and is another installment in the Marvel universe, but specifically, the Spiderverse. Madame Web is the latest addition to the long list of Spider-Man bad-guy(?) stand-alone films, and will presumably tie in with Kraven the Hunter, set for release this summer, August 24, 2024, starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson as yet another adversary with a supernatural ability to communicate with members reptiles, spiders, and other members of the animal kingdom.
