While Kanye West seemingly changed your poolside footwear for good when his Yeezy offshoot of adidas dropped the Yeezy slide in 2019, the ugly slide phenomena that followed has been transcended by one brand: Crocs.
It’s all part of an almighty redemption story for the Colorado footwear brand. Going from the world’s most derided shoe to one that’s seemingly universally loved—in high fashion and the high street—and that frequently fires out some of the most credible collabs in streetwear. Here are five that will change your summer style.

Crocs Pollex Slides
After initially releasing in milk and citrus, the slide featuring the thumbprint of renowned designer Salehe Bembury comes in a new colourway known as “tashmoo”, which to the untrained eye looks, well, blue.
Available from July 20 via Spunge

Satisfy x Crocs Mellow Slide
Crocs latest collaboration with the French running brand Satisfy follows the action clog with something a little more, erm, mellow. Padded for extra comfort, each pattern will be unique to the wearer.
Available from July 21 via Satisfy

Taco Bell x Crocs
A collaboration with the iconic Mexican-inspired fast food joint is the type of randomness we’re looking for on our summer slides. Kind of un-Crocs like in style, but they tell the world where you’re coming from, and where you’re going (for a burrito, most likely).
Currently sold out, but stay in the loop via Crocs

Balenciaga x Crocs Pool Slide Sandals
What we love about Crocs in 2023 is that there really is no judgement—from anyone. One minute they’re pushing out a clog that has a Baked Beans motif, the next they’re reconnecting with Demna Gvasalia on a pair of elevated pool slides for Balenciaga.
Available via Balenciaga

7-Eleven x Crocs
There’s no getting away from the fact that the Crocs celebrating one of the most iconic stores in the world are way fresher than any of the produce sold there. Coming in a way more familiar look, with the jibitz-style icons, these slides are convenient as heck.
