The wait is over. Dior has unveiled its Dior Spring 2023 Men’s Collection, a collaboration between Kim Jones and guest designer ERL, aka Eli Russel Linnetz, who previously collaborated with Jones on Dior’s menswear resort collection in May 2022.
“As a tribute to freedom, ocean waves are transformed into an essential motif that punctuates sweatshirts and delicately embroidered Bermuda shorts,” says Dior.
“Symbols of this compelling exchange between Paris and Los Angeles, Dior’s emblematic references are reinvented, notably with the cannage featured in a quilted version—in satin and leather—on the new B9S skaters and the Dior saddle Venice bag,” continues the announcement.
Steeped in Californian style, the saddle has also be inreinterpreted as a golden ‘Men’s Minaudiere’ composed entirely of metal and quartz, which transposes “the unique atmosphere of Venice Beach to the realm of couture.”
