A Dior Ramadan collection is (presumably) something nobody expected but boy, are we happy we got it anyway. Gold has long been interwoven in the fabric of Dior, and now, for Ramadan, visionary Kim Jones has conceived an entire wardrobe revolving around this timeless colour.
Steeped in an aura of refinement, these creations are immortalised through a collection of imagery bathed in hues of beige and gray. From sportswear staples like t-shirts and polos, to denim and tailored jackets, this collection fires on all cylinders.
It should come as no surprise that whatever Dior touches turns to gold, which is very fitting as this collection is, well, very golden, and for good reason. Evoking images of Dune, if Arrakis was a luxury resort which required you to book a room six years in advance.
The iconic Dior Oblique pattern is stamped on its messenger bags, saddle bags, and even on small leather goods.
And if that weren’t enough, they graced us with the B27 and B101 sneakers, the classic Dior Granville loafers, and Alias and Aqua sandals, rounding out this selection of exclusive footwear, because when it comes to Dior, there ain’t no half steppin’.
