When you think back to the first piece of fashionable clothing you ever bought, a good pair of jeans was surely high on your list of priorities. Denim has been a style staple since forever (wherever) which is something Armani has recognised with their Made in the World project.
This limited edition collection celebrates denim and it cross-cultural appeal with three iconic garments. The key to the whole shooting match is that each is made respectively in Italy, Japan and the US, and the entire supply chain of the individual garment can be traced there – from weaving right through to production.
With 1981 pairs of each garment available – to celebrate the year Armani Jeans was launched – it’s likely to be the briefest of global hits.
