H&M has teamed up with visionary Indian designer Anamika Khanna for its latest capsule collection for men and women.
Known for her aesthetic of merging Eastern and Western silhouettes, designer Anamika Khanna, the collection brings her distinct approach to traditional Indian sartorial codes, infusing them with a modern sensibility that’s as fresh as it is daring. The collection will be available from H&M stores at The Dubai Mall (and online) from September 7, and Anamika herself will be at the store from 9 am onwards to officially launch the line.
True to form Khanna’s design challenge the conventional with reimagined traditional cuts that play with bold graphic prints the Indian subcontinent is known for and painterly motifs.
These elements elevate casual sportswear into something artistically expressive, offering men a chance to wear their individuality with pride. Whether it’s a classic silhouette made contemporary with innovative prints or a more relaxed piece given a sophisticated edge, each item is crafted to make a statement.

“I’ve always felt Indian fashion gets lost when interpreted by the rest of the world,” Anamika said. “Our culture, the heritage of craft and textile embroideries, is often seen as either too costume-like or not modern enough. This collaboration with H&M lets me take Indian fashion global, offering men’s clothing that’s both rooted in tradition and unmistakably contemporary.”
The menswear pieces are just one aspect of this richly layered collaboration. While the womenswear boasts draped skirts, airy kaftans, and silk pyjama sets, the men’s line offers its own unique flair. The menswear designs feature fluid silhouettes that encourage personalisation, making each piece versatile and adaptable to the wearer’s own style.

“Anamika designs clothes that invite self-expression,” said Ann-Sofie Johansson, Creative Advisor at H&M. “Her fluid, draped silhouettes and intriguing prints allow men to embrace traditional elements in a way that feels modern and uniquely their own.”
Complementing the clothing, the line comes with intricate jewellery. Earrings, cuffs, and necklaces, all made from reclaimed metal and produced locally in India, add an extra layer of artistry to the collection.
H&M and Anamika Khanna’s partnership is more than a fusion of fashion, it’s a cultural dialogue that brings the rich heritage of Indian craftsmanship into the global spotlight, especially within menswear.
