Harry Styles is launching a makeup and perfume line. Will men buy it?

Chances are, if you’re a man and have a partner in 2021, that partner has some kind of romantic feelings for one Harry Styles, the former boy band and current pop star, Christopher Nolan-movie actor and fashion icon.

Styles has long been pushing the boundaries of men’s fashion forward as well as pulling it back to the Bowie glam days of the 70s and 80s, taking items such as pearls, feather boas, high-waisted pants, eyeliner and done-out nails to the red carpet, making him one of the most oft-discussed and polarizing figures in the space.

If some leaked documents are to be believes, Styles is now launching a cosmetics and fragrance lines, as a document posted by a fanpage online shows ‘STYLES, Harry Edward” filing for a “wholesale of perfume and cosmetics” business along with Emma Spring, a long-time collaborator with Styles.

The document also shows that the business is titled ‘Pleased As Holdings’ for now.

There’s no doubt that his legions of female fans will be lining up to buy from the likely unisex line of products, but the question is whether men will be buying as well.

There are signs, however, that Styles is able to make waves in the fashion world. After the singer wore pearls, the look has become omnipresent, with stars such as Pharrell and A$AP Rocky also rocking pearls on red carpets across the world over the last few years. Gucci and Dior also had male models rocking pearls at recent fashion shows.

While not all your friends may not want you to get in on this line, perhaps ask your partner—you may get a strong sign of encouragement from the likely and secret (or perhaps not-so-secretly) Styles admirer.
