Burberry is going to do things a little differently this season, by not only livestreaming its spring/summer 2021 show via its website and on YouTube, but also on the game-centric streaming channel Twitch.
The show kicks off at 4 PM UAE time (1 PM UK time) and will feature chief creative officer Riccardo Tisci’s take on the great British outdoors.
From what we’ve heard on the fashion grapevine, the new collection will take inspiration from founder Thomas Burberry’s penchant for nature and the outdoors.
The show itself is set to be a good one. The whole idea behind using Twitch is so Burberry can make use of its Live Team features, so you will be able to pick and choose from a variety of viewpoints.
We also know that German artist Anne Imhof will be involved, so you can expect some grand installation artworks dotted about the broadcast.
If you want to watch along with the Esquire team, we’ll be taking in the Burberry countryside via Twitch. Head to this channel at 4 PM to enjoy those Live Team features.
