Lululemon may have been born in the yoga studio—at least, you know, metaphorically—but the brand has long since transitioned into something more wide-ranging than just workout-wear. Case in point: Its latest collaboration with designer Robert Geller, which includes gym-ready staples like shorts, joggers, and tees alongside outerwear, shirts, and pants that’d be a lot more at home on a plane or in an office. The whole collection is designed for maximum versatility, going from your morning run to the subsequent commute, or from the office to an evening out.
This whole “hyper-transitional, ultra-versatile” thing is, to be sure, not a new idea. In fact, its the brass ring that a lot of fashion brands find themselves grasping for with each new collection.
