The Saudi Surfing Federation (SSF) just got a luxurious upgrade as Breitling Middle East has become the organisation’s official timekeeper.
Breitling has a longstanding history with the surfing community, specifically Kelly Slater and their joint efforts in preserving the ocean, so this new union with the SSF is a natural progression in their global partnerships. To celebrate, Breitling hosted a delegation from SSF at the Dubai Mall boutique for a meet and greet, as well as to receive their Superocean watches and new gear.

The delegation included Hassan Ajaj, Standup Paddler Boarder who represented KSA at the 2023 ISA World Championships; Leila Zahid, Surfer, who won 2nd place in the Saudi Surfing National Championship; and Mohanad Almalki, Para Surfer who participated in the 2023 ISA World Para Surfing Championship.
“Surfing brings precision, performance and a casual, inclusive lifestyle which aligns with Breitling’s philosophy around its sea universe,” said Aed Adwan. “We are proud to be supporting the Saudi Surfing Federation and its talented team, as they foster a community of surfers and paddle boarders in the Kingdom.”

Breitling’s relationship with the deep blue and it’s humble wave warriors dates back to 1957, when it ventured into diving watches with the creation of the Superocean timepiece. Although the brand is largely known for its aviation design, its diving models found a firm fan base with their reliability underwater and urbane sophistication on the ground.
