Staple of Southern California surf, skate and punk merch, Stüssy, has traveled across the Atlantic to the German gates of Birkenstock to create a sandal that’ll make you say, “dude, das ist hella groovy.”
The result of their creative efforts, the Solana, features Birkenstock’s signature modeled cork foot-bed with an oversized suede upper lined with shearling so soft you’ll want to message HR to request that sandals be allowed in the office (you’ll have more luck if you gift HR a personal pair, then they’ll understand what you mean).
Presented in three distinct colours – bone, caramel, and washed green – the Solana dons the respective Stüssy and Birkenstock logo on either side. With its combination of both style and comfort, the Solana is the chillest of the chill when it comes to year round versatility, a Darwinian choice for both indoor and outdoor environments.
The Stüssy & Birkenstock collaboration will be available worldwide at select chapter stores, stussy.com, and on 1774.com on November 27.
