Nike SB has teamed up with Dubai-based streetwear brand Frame Skate for a new UAE version of its Dunk Low sneakers.
The Frame Skate x SB Dunk Low ‘Habibi’ celebrates the UAE flag, with a mix of red, white and green colours.
Materials include white mesh and tumbled leather, all contrasted with red leather. Additional details include overlapping black and green Swooshes, with ‘nike’ embroidered at the rear. There are also special tongue tags.
Rounding off these limited edition sneakers are those laces, which were inspired by the traditional Arab headdress, the Keffiyeh. Elsewhere you get printed insples, a sail-coloured midsole and gum rubber on the outsole.
The new sneakers were showcased by repgod888 via Instagram. There’s currently no words on when the limited edition sneakers will be available.
In other collaboration news, French fashion house Givenchy has teamed up with the Dubai/Paris eatery Wild & The Moon to create an exclusive cold-pressed juice.
The unexpected collaboration was announced a few hours ago, and saw Givenchy’s Matthew M. Williams collaborating with a team of chefs, nutritionists and naturopaths at Wild & The Moon to create the new drink. Wild & The Moon specializes in healthy vegan food and drinks.
The new beverage – which is a limited edition of Wild & The Moon’s Black Lemonade – is good for you and good for the planet.
