A money safe, watch safe or jewellery safe are all excepted luxury home features. And now, streetwear’s most cherished items have finally been given their very own safe too—your sneakers.

As part of Farfetch Beat – a retail concept series that develops exclusive product experiences in collaboration with world leading brands – the e-comm platform Farfetch has introduced a luxury line of made-to-order sneaker sneaker safe for its fourth collection.

Bringing together the world’s premier sneaker and streetwear marketplace, Stadium Goods, and Döttling, a heritage luxury German safe manufacturer – it has now successfully unveiled one of those products that you never really thought you’d need until you found out that it was available. And, honestly, now we don’t know how we’d ever do with out it.

Built for the true sneaker connoisseur to display their most coveted investment pieces, the exclusive safe-trunk hybrids pair Stadium Goods’ expertise in sneaker culture with Döttling’s more than 100 years of craftsmanship knowledge.

Only fifteen will be handmade to order at the Döttling factory in Sindelfingen, Germany and individually numbered from 1 to 15 on the lid’s interior.

Balancing this detail on the opposite side, up to eight characters can be chosen to be added in tonal embroidery. A rechargeable fingerprint lock and motion-triggered sound alarm provide security, whilst interior LED lighting enhances visibility and vents encourage airflow for optimum storage conditions.

The boxes are available in calf leather, faux ostrich, faux alligator and faux cowhide, although each of them is limited.
