Sneaker heads, rejoice! The local release date for Kanye West’s latest collaboration with Adidas Originals, Yeezy Boost 350 Black, has been set. In fact, in Dubai Adidas are releasing the sneakers in line with the international launch of February 19.
The Boost 350 Black is the second model sneakers from the rapper’s collaboration with Adidas, but this time it comes to us in all black, and although images suggest otherwise, the heel tab will have red stitching.
The sneakers have been notoriously difficult to get in the US (and in the Gulf!), with shoes being made available in only select outlets, and selling out entirely on release dates. The new design has received some criticism for being slightly different from the 2015’s ‘Pirate Black’ pair. In other cases, one man’s trash is another man’s treasure, and this treasure is the chance for people to get a pair if they missed out on it last year.
The Yeezy Boost 350 is a famous for the use of their Primeknit upper, a breakthrough material developed at Adidas that allows the shoes to fit like a second skin while providing maximum comfort. The design of the sneaker combines this technology with a classic aesthetic to give the sneakers a bold new look.
The black Yeezy Boost 350 will be made available through adidas.ae and the Adidas Originals store in Dubai Mall and the Level shoe district. The retail price for the highly sought after sneaks has been set at Dhs 795.
