A Cartier watch stands synonymous with success. An enduring icon of luxury and watchmaking craftsmanship that transcends the very thing that it is meant to monitor: time. It is a symbol of boy-done-good recognised the world over, so it comes as little surprise that this past weekend pictures of Cartier Lego and other Lego timepieces began circulating online.

Turns out that the images were created by Instagram account, Vertigo1983, who was asked the question: What if Lego teamed up with watch brands. It would probably be the collaboration that satisfies everyone. Please @lego do it. It would be the best way to introduce children to the field of fine watchmaking.

Immediately images of potential Lego and famous watch brands were being shared within the watch community and beyond – including pieces from Audemars Piguet, Rolex and, of course, Cartier.

The selection of AI images posted by Vertigo1983 are an interesting look into what any collaboration between Lego, Rolex and AP would look like, coming up with Lego models of some of the iconic pieces from the brands. Whilst not perfect renders, if you look at the names on the watches themselves and boxes, they’re a little off, the pieces themselves look kind of cool.

Lego, the timeless interlocking brick system, transcends generations as an enduring symbol of creativity and play. Founded in 1932, this Danish brand has evolved into a global cultural phenomenon. With sets ranging from intricate architectural marvels to beloved film franchises, Lego captivates enthusiasts of all ages.

Is Cartier Lego real?

Unfortunately, not right now. It was just a series of viral Instagram images that were generated by AI. But hopefully, for all our sakes, that someone at Lego is listening
