Iconic jewellery brand, Tiffany and Co. has a new face: Jimin, a member of the incalculably popular Korean pop group BTS.
The K-pop star known for his ethereal looks is already a huge favourite with luxury brands and consumers alike – he was also announced as a brand ambassador for Dior earlier this year.
According to WWD, Jimin’s new relationship with Tiffany and Co. will include a handful of upcoming campaigns in which the singer and dancer will model the brand’s jewellery.
Tiffany and Co. made the announcement via a post on Instagram with an image of the star modeling a stack half pavé, full pavé and diamond accented models of the brand’s Lock bracelets.

“It is a great honor to partner with Tiffany and embody the values of a brand that has a passion for design, innovation and artistry,” Jimin said in a statement.
Executive vice president Alexandre Arnault echoed his excitement for the future of the partnership, saying that “[Jimin] embodies the energy, style and sense of modernity that epitomizes Tiffany and Co.”
The new partnership comes hot on the heels as Jimin’s BTS bandmate J-hope recently being announced as the new face of Louis Vuitton. Both Tiffany and Co. and Louis Vuitton are cornerstone brands in the luxury LVMH conglomerate – who this week have also been linked to a potential purchase of another French luxury giant, Cartier.
The South Korean artist’s first advertising campaign for Tiffany is already slated to be released later this year at an unspecified date.
