Moscot’s new Type One frame is classic Common Projects

Earlier this season, Common Projects teamed up with 102-year-old eyewear brand Moscot on a simple, compact frame called the Type One. Production was limited to only 500 pieces, rendered in ultra-modern matte black. If you didn’t get your hands on the first, now’s your chance to get in on the action.

The Type One gets a revival today in glossy black and an infinite production run. If you’re a fan of CP sneakers, there is a lot to love here.  The lines are cleaned up and the details are pared down to the absolute essentials of the classic square shape.

Like the brand’s trademark Achilles low-top, it’s all about high-end construction and careful design choices to elevate something we see every day into something a little more special. Not that anyone is going to see it when you are wearing a pair.  Of course, they will see all the trendy minimalist vibes you’re throwing off, so that should make up for it.

You can pick them up from Moscot right now.
