Mohamad Kaiss arrives at our shoot at Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab in a white hoodie and jeans, simple, and comfortable. The understated outfit mirrors his approach on screen: calm, composed, and unpretentious. “I like to keep things simple,” he says. “Whether it’s my style or my interviews, I want people to focus on the story, not the noise around it.”
Kaiss is one of the most recognizable faces in the region’s entertainment scene, and a multi-award-winning TV host, podcaster, and producer. He currently presents the number-one Arabic podcast, Endi Sou2al (I Have a Question) on Al Mashhad TV. “I’m a storyteller with a suit,” he explains. “I’ve built my career around conversations, and my goal is to make people feel seen, understood, and maybe a little surprised by what they reveal.” That approach has earned him the trust of some of the Arab world’s most influential figures, who feel comfortable sharing their stories with him.
Preparation guides everything he does, even how he dresses. “Preparation is respect. I prepare my looks the same way I prepare for an interview,” he says. Each piece is chosen with care, from fit to colour to context, ensuring his clothing supports the occasion without calling attention to itself. “I never want my outfit to distract from the conversation or the person I’m with,” he continues. “It’s about being present, not putting on a show.”
The presenter’s eye for design goes beyond fashion. “Marble feels eternal,” he says. “It’s natural, imperfect, strong, yet elegant, a balance of rawness and refinement.” That same philosophy guides his wardrobe. He favours practical, timeless pieces. “A perfectly tailored navy or charcoal suit, a crisp white shirt, and leather shoes form the foundation of everything I wear.”
Architecture, travel, and cinema also shape his style instincts. “I’m drawn to structure, clean lines, and pieces that feel modern,” explains Mohamad Kaiss. “Clothing should have presence without shouting. I anchor my wardrobe with classic items and add a single unexpected detail, like a brooch or a statement belt.” His most recent purchase is a sharply cut coat. “I love pieces that do a lot of work with very little effort,” he says.
Here, he tells Esquire about his 3 fits…
FIT 1
Blue really speaks to me. A light blue suit in spring just feels right. I’d wear it to fashion events, or dress it down with a T-shirt for the day.

FIT 2
The Valentino double-breasted suit makes me feel confident without trying too hard. It’s what I wear when I need presence, but still want the focus to stay on the conversation.

FIT 3
This is my go-to winter look. It’s comfortable, easy, and still feels put together. The green coat keeps it interesting without trying too hard.
